The Role

You will serve as a vital leader within our field operations, bringing the personal character and technical expertise required to steer our service department with total integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the diagnostics, repair, and preventative maintenance for a diverse fleet of farm and heavy construction equipment.
  • Direct daily service department operations, upholding absolute integrity and professional accountability in every field task.
  • Manage on-site customer service calls within the region, ensuring swift and highly accurate mechanical resolutions.
  • Optimize shop workflow efficiency and mentor junior mechanics to enhance overall team technical proficiency.
  • Enforce rigid safety standards across all field operations, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and protective equipment.
  • Cook up direct with operations leaders to streamline parts procurement and minimize machinery downtime.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience as a farm or heavy construction equipment mechanic.
  • Proven capability to lead service operations with a strong emphasis on personal character and professional integrity.
  • Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting complex mechanical, hydraulic, and diesel powertrain systems.
  • Absolute willingness to travel up to 10% of working hours to support regional clients on-site.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Completed technical training or formal apprenticeship program specialized in heavy equipment or agricultural mechanics (preferred).
  • Prior experience managing equipment logistics, project scheduling, or leading mechanical field crews (preferred).
  • Strong technical background servicing diverse equipment across industrial, commercial, and government project scopes (preferred).
