Land Acquisition Associate
About the role
As a Land Acquisition Associate, you will help maintain the company's pipeline of potential land deals and work to ensure these land deals fit within the Division's market strategy. Your expertise is critical for the creation of financial models and the development of tracking worksheets. You will be responsible for maintaining land acquisition files and reports for the division, providing solutions that will streamline transactions, and learning the market value for raw land.
What you'll do
- Research property, review and analyze data, and draft letters and documents
- Build relationships with local land professionals, land brokers and their agents through networking
- Build financial models and identify underutilized properties
- Ensure contract compliance for current land deals
- Visit potential acquisition sites

What we're looking for
The ideal Land Acquisition Associate candidate is organized and detail-oriented with an analytical mindset. Being able to communicate clearly and build strong relationships with internal and external groups is imperative to the success of this role.
Required qualifications
- Real estate or homebuilding experience
- Excited to collaborate in a team environment
- Exudes active listening, confidence, and respect when communicating with others
Pay
$68,800-$76,500 per year
