Job Summary
The Labor Relations Operations Analyst supports coordination, logistics, and reporting for the Workforce Continuity and Labor Relations team. This role ensures stakeholders receive accurate, timely communications; maintains staffing and scheduling resources; supports continuity logistics; and produces reporting and dashboards that enable data-driven operational decisions. Additionally, the role provides administrative and analytical support to Labor Relations, including maintaining confidential records, supporting grievance tracking, assisting with investigations and preparing materials for contract negotiations.
Essential Functions
- Maintain Workforce Continuity distribution lists and reoccurring calendar invites to support work continuity efforts, ensuring accuracy and timely updates
- Maintain support worker rosters (daily/weekly updates), including employee notifications and related Workday and Teams channel updates
- Support the Workforce Continuity mailbox by triaging requests, drafting responses, and routing inquiries to appropriate stakeholders
- Cookshift assignment schedules across multiple contracts, including exemption management and SHIFT application administration
- Design and maintain Power BI reporting to produce operational reports, track key metrics, and support data-driven decision-making
- Support Labor Relations processes by tracking grievances, maintaining records, and entering cases in Workday Case Management
- Affiliate with investigations, fact-finding, attendance programs, and preparation of data and materials for contract negotiations and union requests
- Analyze labor relations data to develop insights, support policy application and maintain databases that track key LR metrics and reporting
- Provide support to employees and leaders on collective bargaining agreements, policies, and procedures; assist the Labor Relations team with daily administrative activities as needed
- Design, manage, and present PowerPoints in support of the Labor and Work Continuity teams
- Complete special projects by clarifying project objectives; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree: Business Management, Human Resources
- Equivalent experience
- Excellent written and computer skills required; proficient in Microsoft Office, electronic communications (email, calendars, etc.)
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage and execute tasks with conflicting priorities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and handle sensitive information with discretion
Preferred Additional Qualifications
- 1-3 years Experience with Workday or similar HRIS systems and roster maintenance
- 1-3 years Experience with shift scheduling tools/applications (e.g., SHIFT) and managing multiple contract schedules
- 1-3 years Power BI experience (running reports, creating dashboards, basic data modeling)
- 1-3 years Experience supporting labor relations, employee relations, or HR operations preferred
- 1-3 years Experience in Human Resources or Labor Relations
