Labor Relations Associate - Seattle or Portland

About the role

Ballard Spahr LLP, which recently combined with Lane Powell PC, a firm of more than 750 lawyers with 19 offices across the United States, is seeking a highly qualified associate to join its expanding Labor & Employment practice in Seattle and Portland. The ideal candidate will have 6 to 8 years of relevant Traditional Labor experience.

Responsibilities

• Represent employers in labor‑related matters in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies such as the National Labor Relations Board, Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries, Washington State Department of Labor & Industries, Washington Public Employment Relations Commission, Oregon Employment Relations Board, and U.S. Department of Labor.
• Handle proceedings before labor arbitrators.
• Manage disputes and provide counseling
