Responsibilities
- Drafting and responding to pleadings
- Managing all phases of discovery
- Drafting and arguing motions
- Taking and defending depositions
- Participating in mediations and trials
- Holding employment litigation matters, including:
- Discrimination and harassment claims
- Restrictive covenant and non-compete disputes
- Other labor and employment-related litigation
Qualifications
- 3-7 years of labor and employment litigation experience
- Trial and arbitration experience
- Strong background in employment litigation
- Experience managing cases independently
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to client service and teamwork
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active admission to the Texas Bar
