Key Responsibilities
- Represent employers across all stages of employment and labor litigation.
- Handle complex California wage and hour class actions and PAGA matters.
- Manage litigation from pleadings through discovery, motion practice, and resolution.
- Take and defend depositions and support trial preparation and hearings.
- Advise employers on evolving workplace and compliance issues.
- Work closely with partners and colleagues on high-stakes matters.
Who You Are
- 5–7 years of California labor and employment experience.
- Strong background in wage and hour class actions and PAGA litigation.
- Trial experience is advantageous but not required.
- AmLaw 100 experience preferred.
- Excellent academic credentials with strong writing and oral advocacy skills.
- Highly organized, able to manage a fast-paced workload, and proactive in anticipating issues.
- Consistent performance at or above “exceeds expectations” level at your current firm.
- Admitted to practice in California (required).
Compensation
Salary Range: $315,000 – $370,000
DOE
Bonus: Performance and hours-based bonus programme
