Key Responsibilities
- Defend employers in complex employment litigation in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies, including the EEOC and Department of Labor.
- Advise clients on a wide range of employment matters, including discrimination and harassment, wage and hour compliance, leave entitlements, hiring and termination, discipline, whistleblowing, and employment and severance agreements.
- Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery (including e-discovery), motion practice, and oral advocacy.
- Take and defend depositions and support hearings and trial preparation.
- Collaborate closely with partners and colleagues in a team-oriented practice.
Who You Are
- 4–7 years of labor and employment experience in a law firm environment.
- Strong background defending employers in high-stakes litigation.
- Excellent academic credentials with outstanding research, writing, and advocacy skills.
- Detail-oriented, commercially minded, and confident managing matters independently.
- Prior AmLaw experience is advantageous.
- Admitted to practice in Florida (required).
