Responsibilities
- Aid attorneys with their daily business activities
- Draft and review legal documents
- Record and store client information
- Prepare and format legal documents
- Maintain client files within the firm’s document management system
- Manage attorney calendars, including deadlines, and meetings
- Cook up and arrange meetings, conference calls, and travel arrangements
- Aid with time entry, billing support, and expense reimbursements
- Review vendor invoices and submit for payment
- Offer backup and overflow support to attorneys and staff as needed
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of recent labor and employment law experience
- A stable background, preferably from small to mid-size law firms
- Familiarity with document management
- Strong ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- A high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and document management systems
