Responsibilities

  • Aid attorneys with their daily business activities
  • Draft and review legal documents
  • Record and store client information
  • Prepare and format legal documents
  • Maintain client files within the firm’s document management system
  • Manage attorney calendars, including deadlines, and meetings
  • Cook up and arrange meetings, conference calls, and travel arrangements
  • Aid with time entry, billing support, and expense reimbursements
  • Review vendor invoices and submit for payment
  • Offer backup and overflow support to attorneys and staff as needed

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of recent labor and employment law experience
  • A stable background, preferably from small to mid-size law firms
  • Familiarity with document management
  • Strong ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • A high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and document management systems
