Labor & Employment Attorney

About the role

McElroy Deutsch is seeking attorneys with a minimum of 5 years of experience in employment litigation, counseling, and traditional labor law (collective bargaining, labor arbitration, matters before the National Labor Relations Board and/or New Jersey Public Employment Relations Commission) for the Firm’s Morristown, NJ office. New Jersey Bar Admission required. New York Bar Admission a plus.

Responsibilities

- Engage in employment litigation and counseling. - Participate in collective bargaining and labor arbitration. - Represent clients before the National Labor Relations Board and/or New Jersey Public Employment Relations Commission. - Provide legal advice and guidance on employment-related issues. - Manage complex cases and collaborate effectively within a team.

Requirements

- JD from an ABA accredited law school. - Admission to the New Jersey bar. - Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to manage complex cases and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay

Salary range for this position: $140,000 - $185,000. Actual salary will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.
