Labor & Employment Associate - 2-5 YOE - Employment Litigation

Responsibilities

• Handle wage and hour litigation matters
• Defend discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and related employment claims
• Manage class and collective action matters
• Provide employment counseling to business owners, executives, and HR professionals
• Draft motions, pleadings, employment policies, agreements, and handbooks
• Advises clients on New York employment law compliance and workplace issues
• Aid with workplace investigations and employee relations matters

Requirements

• 2-5 years of labor and employment law experience
• Experience handling wage and hour litigation
• Experience litigating discrimination claims
• Class or collective action experience preferred
• Employment counseling experience preferred
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Active New York Bar admission
