Salary: $275,000 - $325,000 per year

Responsibilities
- Manage employment litigation matters through all phases of the case lifecycle
- Conduct witness interviews and factual investigations
- Review and analyze large volumes of electronic documents and evidence
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation filings
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Attend court hearings, conferences, and other proceedings
- Communicate directly with clients regarding strategy, case developments, and risk assessments
- Negotiate and correspond with opposing counsel
- Provide guidance on employment-related legal issues and workforce management concerns
- Assist clients with workplace policies, employee relations matters, and compliance initiatives
- Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups on complex legal issues
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience handling labor and employment matters
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
- Experience managing litigation matters with increasing levels of responsibility
- Demonstrated ability to draft high-quality legal briefs, motions, and other advocacy documents
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple assignments while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience advising employers on workplace legal issues is beneficial
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in NY or ability to waive in
- Strong academic credentials
- Experience handling depositions, motion practice, and court appearances
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with legal teams
- Commitment to providing practical, client-focused legal counsel
