Latitude is seeking experienced labor and employment attorneys to work on assignment with some of Latitude’s leading corporations in a variety of industries.
Responsibilities
- Counseling employers in a full range of federal, state, and local employment laws
- Litigation
- Wage and hour compliance
- Employment agreements
- Collective bargaining disputes
- Unlawful discrimination claims
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a labor and employment attorney with a large law firm or a corporate legal department
- Excellent academic credentials
- Licensed and in good standing in state of residence
- Outstanding references
Position Details of the Labor & Employment Attorney (Remote)
- Type of role: Contract Engagement
- Schedule: Flexible (full-time, part-time or anywhere in between)
- Location: Remote
- Compensation: The annualized pay for this contract position ranges from $120,000 to $200,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract roles is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).
- Benefits: Latitude contract professionals are usually W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week. Benefits-eligible Latitude contract professionals receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
