About the Role

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Program Manager to support the Air Force Intranet Control (AFINC) program within the C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI) at Hanscom AFB, MA. AFINC is a defensive system that analyzes all traffic entering the service’s network, receiving data from over 100 entry points on regionally managed Air Force networks into 16 centrally managed access points covering all traffic on the Air Force Information Network.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, research, analyze, and assess system acquisition in terms of development, production, and deployment of weapons systems and associated equipment.
  • Formulate plans and recommend effective strategies to meet cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
  • Support and develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory reports.
  • Support program management reviews, senior-level meetings/reviews, and IMP/IMS reviews.
  • Support and develop various briefings and schedules of program status and acquisition tasks for senior management.
  • Support development of program documentation such as POM inputs, communication plans, contract documentation, meeting minutes, program briefings, and regulatory & statutory documents.
  • Support program monitoring activities, including tracking contract CDRLs, documentation review and coordination, status updates, and reporting.
  • Support program execution, including coordination of activities with stakeholders, setting up and administering program meetings.

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree.
  • 3 years of directly related experience in a DoD setting OR five years of directly related experience with proper certification.
  • Active US Secret security clearance at time of hire.

  • Experience in MS Office software, including MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint (experience in MS Project and MS Access preferred).

Pay

$75,000–$85,000 annually, depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications.

Schedule

Full-time; salaried.
