Jr Information Technology Analyst
About the role
The Information Technology Analyst – Junior will identify and analyze compromised information for the Threat Systems Management Office (TSMO). This position requires an active Top-Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze compromised information using advanced tools, leveraging Government-provided artificial intelligence (AI), data science, and knowledge management tools.
- Identify critical program information (CPI), critical technical information (CTI), and proprietary data that may have been exposed, supporting rapid and accurate detection of security breaches.
- Frame analysis against technical, operational, and programmatic lanes.
- Assess and report on the scope and impact of compromises by thoroughly evaluating the scope, content, and sensitivity of exposed information.
- Develop detailed assessment reports and provide comprehensive analysis on the nature of each compromise, including evaluating affected systems and operational impacts.
- Support mitigation strategies and decision-making.
- Provide technical recommendations to improve system features and prioritize enhancements for more effective compromise assessments and risk mitigation.
- Communicate technical concepts and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement and innovation.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience analyzing data, identifying compromised data, assessing data, and presenting solutions.
- Experience working with enterprise IT systems, data analysis, and government/Army experience preferred.
- Strong experience across the full data lifecycle (requirements, data sourcing, transformation, modeling, visualization).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Must be very detail-oriented.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
Pay
Estimated starting salary range: $95,000.00.
