Jr. Systems Analyst

Description Spatial Front, Inc. (SFI) is seeking a Jr. Systems Analyst to support our Federal Government customer. Work Location Remote but ideally in the Washington DC area Responsibilities Provides incident triage and root-cause identification for application and system issues reported by FMCSA stakeholders, ensures timely fulfillment of service requests, monitors and optimizes AWS cloud resources, and collaborates with federal and state customers, developers, and IT teams.Tailor and monitor alerts for application and system availability and performance using WhatsUp Gold and AWS Synthetic CanariesMaintain existing resource attributes for AWS inventoryUtilize AWS services to identify potential process and system improvementsApply software patches or configuration changes to address security issues on Windows or Linux servers and systemsPerform or coordinate storage clean-up activities on serversInstall releases in both non-production and production environmentsWork to resolve tier 2 and tier 3 tickets, including system and application-level outages with support as neededBasic knowledge of querying databases Requirements Minimum of 2 years of IT experience with an associate degree or 5 years or more of IT experience without a degreeUS Citizenship with an active Public Trust Desired Skills Basic understanding of site certificates/renewals and CSR creations2+ years of experience with AWS CloudWatch2+ years of Windows and/or Linux experience Understanding of network infrastructures, firewalls, and load balancersAbility to work in a flexible and fluid environmentExperience with IT Service Management tools, e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, etc. Additional Information In order to meet the clearance requirements for this opportunity, candidates must be US Citizen.All candidates will be subject to a complete background check to include, but not limited to Criminal History, Education Verification, Professional Certification Verification, Verification of Previous Employment and Credit History.Public Trust background investigations can take approximately four to eight weeks and requires fingerprinting.
