Jr. Digital Marketing Manager

Great products deserve great marketing. But for many businesses, that's always been out of reach: they're understaffed, or it's too expensive, too slow, or too dependent on a team they can't afford. We built Tenet to change that. Tenet is the AI marketing agent for lean teams. It runs the full marketing function — strategy to execution — so lean businesses can compete on the same level as companies ten times their size, without the expertise, budget, headcount, or the agency retainer.

About the culture

We're async-first and autonomy-driven. There's no micromanagement here; we’d like to hire people we trust and get out of their way. You'll have ownership over your work from day one, and we love seeing people grow into more as the company does. We move quickly, communicate clearly, and care more about outcomes than hours. If you do your best work when you have space to think and run with things, you'll fit right in here.

We're a small, global team and still early, which means the person who joins now has the opportunity to shape the role and grow with it.

Responsibilities

We're looking for a Junior Digital Marketing Manager to grow Tenet's digital footprint. You'll be responsible for growing our audience across LinkedIn, Instagram, and other channels, bringing our content to life visually, and building a presence that makes people stop scrolling. You won't be on your own — Tenet is here to guide your strategic direction day-to-day, but the creativity, judgment, and community building are yours to run with.

  • Multi-channel strategy and execution across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and wherever our audience is, including owning the content calendar, publishing, tracking what works, and doubling down on it to grow our digital footprint
  • Follower and engagement growth: Set targets, track progress, and iterate on what's working
  • Short-form video creation and editing: Reels, LinkedIn video, and platform-native formats
  • Visual content creation: Carousels, graphics, and designed assets
  • Community engagement: Managing comments and engaging in authentic conversations
  • Reporting: A clear weekly snapshot of what's moving and what isn't
  • Email marketing: Growing and managing our newsletter and nurture campaigns, keeping our audience engaged beyond social
  • Paid social (LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads): If you have the experience, you'll eventually own this too

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of hands-on digital marketing experience across multiple platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, design, journalism, English, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
  • A portfolio that shows what you've built and grown (business or personal accounts, both are welcome) — we want to see your work
  • Strong storytelling and visual design instincts; you know what resonates, looks good, and why
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with short-form video creation and editing (CapCut, Instagram native, or similar)
  • Experience with social scheduling tools (Buffer, Later, Hootsuite, or similar)
  • Experience with email marketing tools (Loops, Mailchimp, or similar)
  • Comfortable with AI tools as part of your daily workflow
  • Familiarity with platform-native analytics (LinkedIn, Instagram Insights) and Google Analytics basics
  • Growth mindset: you care about the numbers and want to move them
  • Comfortable with ambiguity — we're building as we go and not everything will be defined upfront
  • Async-first work style, with availability to overlap with Toronto (EST) for check-ins

The right person for this role doesn't wait to be told what to do; they see what needs to happen and does it. They're detail-oriented, take pride in their work, and back their instincts with action.

Nice to have

  • Experience with paid social (LinkedIn Ads or Meta Ads)
  • Experience with marketing for a B2B audience

Benefits

  • All the tools you need to do your best work
  • Monthly wellness stipend
  • Learning budget to grow your skills (courses, conferences, or subscriptions)
  • Tenet merch
  • Local public holidays and paid time off in line with your country's standards

Pay

Salary is based on experience and location. We believe in paying fairly for great work — please include your salary expectations in your application. We welcome applicants globally.
