John Deere Apprenticeship - Circle, MT

About the role

Full-time apprenticeship program that combines on-the-job training with classroom instruction to earn a John Deere Apprenticeship Certification. Work in a shop under experienced technicians and travel to Mitchell, South Dakota for one week each month for paid in-class, hands-on learning (travel, food, lodging, and class costs covered). Program duration is 2–3 years (2 years with prior mechanic experience, 3 years with none).

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on John Deere agricultural equipment
• Work with diesel engines, hydraulics, electronics, and precision ag technology
• Use advanced diagnostic tools and software
• Complete digital service documentation
• Learn and follow professional shop procedures and safety practices
• Work alongside experienced technicians who provide mentorship and training

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and desire to learn
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in equipment
• Ability to work full-time
• Valid driver’s license
