JBC- Rotation 3rd Shift

About the role

This position rotates through multiple stations on the production line, performing tasks such as inspecting products for quality, counting and packaging finished products, loading and unloading product racks, and operating production equipment like laminating, slitting, and die-cutting machines. The role may also include other duties as assigned by the shift supervisor or department manager.

Responsibilities

• Rotate throughout the department during work hours and break times.
• Fill and pack bags up to 50 lbs. with product as needed.
• Move bags from the line to conveyor or pallet.
• Dump product according to specification into a blender for mixing.
• Provide product samples for quality control as required.
• Assist in a lead role as needed, mastering department systems and processes.
• Prepare and complete required paperwork for records.
• Report equipment, quality, or other issues as appropriate.
• Assist fellow team members with job tasks as required.
• Clean and sanitize equipment, work areas, and other plant areas as assigned.
• Follow production schedules and procedures.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions or quality issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work safely and follow all company safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet goals.
• Complete production documentation as required.
• Perform other activities, special tasks, and projects as requested by management.

Work Environment

The job is performed on the production floor, where the employee will be exposed to strong aromas, airborne dust particles from ingredients, and will operate or be near machinery.

Pay

Pay range from $20.21 - $25.27 an hour.
