IT Support Technician

About the role

A Construction company in NW Portland is hiring an IT Helpdesk Technician for a 4 month contract opportunity!

Job Duties

• Provide support to staff on all company-supported applications and devices
• Software and hardware support for end user devices
• Identification and remediation of end user technical issues or escalation as needed
• Perform basic network troubleshooting
• Providing directions to technical resources
• Act as a liaison between Enterprise Technical Services and the end user
• Provision new devices for end users
• Troubleshoot device problems, determine source, and advise on appropriate action
• Complete Information Technology project work
• Install, configure, and maintain company devices and related hardware and software
• Maintain knowledge of computer and/or network security systems, applications, procedures, and techniques
• Identify and resolve computer system malfunctions and operations problems

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of helpdesk experience or working with a helpdesk/IT provider
• Must have experience with Azure AD (Entra ID), Active Directory and Windows 11 experience
• Experience with imaging and Windows 11 refreshes is a big plus
• CompTIA A+ is a plus but not required
• Previous construction experience is a plus but not required

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.

Location

This is a Contract position based out of Portland, OR.
