IT Support Specialist

LaSalle Network is partnering with a specialized environmental services organization to hire two IT Support Specialists for its highly regulated industrial facility near Andrews, Texas. The company is building a dedicated internal IT function and expects to hire one junior support professional and one more experienced Tier 2 resource. Both individuals will provide hands-on desktop and end-user support. The junior specialist will focus on front-line troubleshooting, device setup and user-account assistance. The senior specialist will resolve more complex endpoint, Microsoft and connectivity issues while serving as an escalation resource for the team. Responsibilities Provide onsite Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for approximately 250 employeesTroubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, mobile devices and peripheralsSupport Active Directory accounts, password resets, permissions and user accessAssist users with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams and Office applicationsImage, configure, deploy, maintain and replace employee workstationsSupport employee onboarding and offboarding, including equipment and account setupTroubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN, network-connectivity and endpoint communication issuesMonitor the ticket queue, prioritize requests and maintain accurate documentationTake ownership of incidents through resolution or appropriate escalationCoordinate with infrastructure, application and outside support teams when necessaryMaintain hardware inventory and assist with equipment lifecycle managementIdentify recurring technical issues and recommend improvementsCreate and update support documentation, procedures and knowledge-base articlesAssist with technology-transition and environment-separation activitiesProvide professional and responsive support to technical and nontechnical employeesFollow all facility safety, security and access requirements Top Skills Active Directory, Windows and Microsoft 365 supportDesktop, hardware, imaging and connectivity troubleshootingCustomer service, communication and ticket ownership Junior-Level Qualifications One to three years of help desk, desktop-support or end-user support experienceFoundational experience with Windows, Active Directory and Microsoft 365Experience configuring or troubleshooting desktops, laptops and peripheralsStrong customer-service and communication skillsWillingness to learn company-specific systems and processes Senior-Level Qualifications Three or more years of hands-on desktop or end-user support experienceAbility to independently resolve advanced Tier 1 and Tier 2 issuesStrong experience with Windows, Active Directory and Microsoft 365Experience with endpoint deployment, VPNs, Wi-Fi and network connectivityAbility to manage escalations, document solutions and assist junior team members Key Details Location: Andrews, TexasSchedule: Monday–Friday, 100% onsiteOpenings: TwoEmployment Type: Six-month contract-to-hireTarget Start: October 2026Contract Pay Range: $24–$32 per hourAnticipated Conversion Salary: $60,000–$70,000Benefits: LaSalle Network consultants are eligible to enroll in benefits. It is a hands-on support environment rather than a remote service desk or call center. The work combines steady-state user support with project-based activities as the organization establishes a new internal technology environment. Because this is a regulated and safety-conscious workplace, selected candidates must follow all applicable facility-access, security and safety procedures. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of applicable background and drug-screening requirements, consistent with federal, state and local law.
