About the role
Seeking an IT Support and Asset Management Specialist to provide IT asset management and end-user technical support. This role is responsible for managing the lifecycle of hardware and software assets, maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting ITSM/ITAM processes, and delivering hands-on support for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices across multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Manage IT hardware and software assets throughout their lifecycle.
- Maintain and audit IT asset inventory and CMDB/AMDB records.
- Administer ITSM/ITAM tools and track software licensing compliance.
- Support procurement, vendor management, and contract renewals.
- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and software installations.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, imaging, and network connectivity issues.
- Manage support tickets, documentation, and asset-related reporting.
- Travel to field locations to provide on-site technical assistance.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in IT Asset Management.
- 3+ years of experience with ITSM/ITAM tools.
- 3+ years of Help Desk or Field Technician support experience.
- 3+ years of End-User Hardware Support experience.
- 3+ years of software installation and maintenance experience.
- Strong customer service, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel regularly.
Qualifications
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, CSAM, CHAMP, or equivalent.
- Experience with Freshservice ITSM/ITAM and NinjaOne RMM.
- Google Workspace administration experience.
- Experience supporting government or public-sector environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
