Job Description Monitors and maintains the local and wide area network infrastructure equipment, including but not limited to hubs, modems, switches, network appliances, and routersUtilizes network management tools to monitor and maintain network health and performanceMonitors and maintains network circuitry technologies and connections, including but not limited to frame relay, broadband, and satelliteMonitors and maintains enterprise wiring infrastructure including but not limited to fiber, UTP, wireless and network racksMonitors and maintains virtual private network infrastructureIsolates and resolves network-related service calls and problemsMaintains Networking Services documentationServes as the primary liaison between information technology service providers for interface and customization needsResearches new products and potential solutionsManages internal Network Services projectsProactive in identifying problems and takes necessary steps or implements procedures to resolve problems before they become larger and more criticalProvides technical assistance regarding all network devices, circuitry and core infrastructure throughout the project including troubleshooting, configuring, installing, documenting, and sustaining the projects network infrastructureConducts appropriate risk analysis before making decisions related to technology and infrastructure Qualifications Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field is requiredA minimum of three years of experience in Information Technology pertaining to networking technologies is requiredExcellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong management and organizational skills; ability to work across all levels of management and staffAbility to work under minimum supervision Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
