Position Overview
As part of a cross-functional team focused on complex problem solving, you will be integral to identifying solutions to transform day-to-day operations. As a key member of the IT Portfolio and Project Management Office (PMO), you will direct and coordinate the utilization of cross-functional project resources to reach targets, while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and scope. You will be collaborating with key business stakeholders to understand and document current processes, utilize systems thinking to identify areas of improvement and champion new processes that increase quality, productivity, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Establish, oversee, and execute on multiple projects simultaneously
- Liaising with stakeholders such as project personnel, vendors, and end-users regarding project requirements
- Managing the intake and communication of requests coming into and from internal business unit and functional customers and other project teams
- Ensuring all projects have a timeline, budget, and scope and are monitored and reported on throughout the lifetime of the project
- Developing visualizations for metrics, key performance indicators, and data solutions to ensure decisions are informed and data driven
- Implementing document control policies and documentation templates
- Monitoring project progress and implementing changes where necessary
- Monitoring expenditures in accordance with the budget
- Ensuring compliance with objectives, organizational policies, procedures, and standards
- Compiling project reports and informing management regarding problems
- Ensuring project complies with best practices, SOPs, PMO policies, and other policies
Education Requirements
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
Experience Required
- Minimum of 5+ years of project management experience
- Knowledge of soliciting requirements, documenting problem statements, and communicating to leadership and technical teams
- Knowledge and experience creating metrics to accurately measure quality, performance, production, safety and/or schedules
- Excellent written communication and presentation skills
- Analytical, organization and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Demonstrated history of leading successful operations data-driven projects
- Ability to work in a dynamic rapidly changing environment where priorities can shift quickly
- Strong project organization and scheduling skills
- Project scoping, budgeting & planning
- Exhibit great customer service skills
- Strong documentation skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- O365 product suite, Power Point and Visio
EHS/Security Clearance Requirements
- This job operates in a professional office environment
- The employee routinely is required to use hands to keyboard, communicate, listen to, and interpret instructions and remain stationary for extended periods of the time
- This would require the ability to move around the campus and occasionally move/lift items weighing up to 25 lbs
- This position requires the incumbent to access export-controlled information. If you are not a U.S. Person, any offer is contingent upon the Company's ability to obtain a special license granting you access. This could take several months. You will not be able to begin employment until such license is obtained
