Responsibilities
- Lead multiple concurrent IT projects from initiation through closure, maintaining full accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk
- Define and manage project plans, schedules, dependencies, resource demands, and critical path activities
- Establish and manage project governance, including steering committees, decision frameworks, escalation paths, and change control
- Manage SaaS and on-premise application implementations, including integrations with finance, HR, document management, data platforms, and identity management systems
- Carefully coordinate with architecture, development, infrastructure, security, and data teams to ensure integration requirements are clearly defined and delivered
- Support vendor management activities, including implementation partners, software vendors, and third-party service providers
- Ensure technical and functional design reviews to confirm alignment with firm standards and business requirements are completed
- Build strong, trusted relationships with project sponsors, business owners, and IT leadership
- Facilitate consensus on scope, priorities, tradeoffs, and delivery approach
- Prepare and deliver executive-level updates, including status, risks, mitigation strategies, and recommendations
- Translate technical concepts into clear, actionable information for non-technical audiences
- Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and expense tracking
- Support IT annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities as needed
- Ensure appropriate security reviews, non-disclosure agreements, and contractual artifacts are completed and retained
- Maintain accurate project documentation, artifacts, and collaboration sites (e.g., SharePoint, Teams)
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the firm’s project delivery framework, templates, standards, and tools
- Promote best practices aligned with PMI standards and modern delivery approaches
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant and professional experience in IT project management
- In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, 9 years of relevant and professional experience in IT project management
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required, including Microsoft Project Professional, Teams, and SharePoint
- Advanced critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, with sound judgment applied in high-impact, time-sensitive situations
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence, align stakeholders, and support informed decision-making
- Demonstrate consistent professionalism and discretion while interacting with all levels of the organization
- Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as needed
- Travel may be required as defined by the needs of the project or department
