IT Project Manager
Job Summary
Manage and oversee IT projects for the Mississippi Library Commission, focusing on E-rate (USAC) program compliance and planning. Coordinate and support technology initiatives for public libraries, including IT infrastructure upgrades and migrations. Conduct site assessments and manage vendor and ISP migrations. Lead projects from initial planning through implementation, ensuring adherence to public sector procurement laws and contract requirements. Develop and administer contracts, RFPs, and coordinate with library stakeholders and vendors. Supervise staff and maintain effective vendor and stakeholder relationships. Ensure compliance with Mississippi procurement laws and government contracting procedures. Utilize strong knowledge in networking infrastructure (wireless access points, switches, routers, cabling). Engage in public speaking and stakeholder communications as needed. Contribute to policy and procedure development related to IT projects and library systems.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on public sector procurement and E-rate compliance.
- Experience with network infrastructure, including wireless access points, switches, routers, and cabling.
- Strong understanding of public sector procurement laws and government contracting procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage in public speaking and stakeholder communications.
- Ability to lead and supervise a team effectively.

Schedule
