About the role
This position encompasses multiple roles with primary responsibility in Project Management and a secondary role focused on IT Delivery Operations and Reporting functions. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading, organizing, and motivating project teams to successfully deliver IT projects for our customers. Projects will vary in complexity, size, scope, and methodology – traditional (waterfall), agile, and hybrid approaches are all utilized within the organization. The PM is accountable for all aspects of the project in a fast-paced environment focused on value contribution. Expectation includes the ability to manage 3-4 high-visibility efforts in parallel.
Responsibilities
- Drive a sense of urgency by managing and driving project scope, issues, risks, stakeholders, communications, and financials while seeking value-added improvement opportunities
- Provide project leadership - accountable to drive all aspects of the project. Proactively escalate issues or concerns, and drive resolutions when there are changes to the project scope, resources, schedule, and budget
- Exercise strong leadership and communication skills in interacting with and building preferred partnerships with both business and IT at all levels, including senior leadership
- Leverage best practices. Identify and enhance project management best practices within the organization. Share knowledge and help foster growth by mentoring others within the team and the broader IT organization
- Collaborate with teams and leverage tools, such as Planview, to consolidate data and create reports for key projects, agile delivery management, and vendor management based on their respective cadence
- Provide analysis and insights on organizational effectiveness, and develop and implement initiatives to increase organizational AI maturity and employee productivity
- Provide ADO administration in support of users across the enterprise. Identify best practices and value-added use cases to drive profitable adoption
Requirements
- Experience in managing application development and packaged software implementation projects– including Traditional methodologies, Agile, or Hybrid
- Experience with project management tools (e.g. Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project or equivalent PM tools), Microsoft Office Tools (MS Office, Teams, OneNote)
- Previous leadership experience leading cross-functional onshore/offshore teams and vendors in a complex environment and engaging with business leaders and IT stakeholders at all levels
- Proven experience collaborating, developing relationships and coaching teams, and embracing the challenge process. Detail-oriented with an appetite for learning the business and new skills
