Manager I - IT
Manages and oversees First Solar’s North American infrastructure environment, ensuring reliable and secure 24×7 operational support for enterprise business functions and manufacturing operations.
- Provides leadership, direction, and resource management for the Infrastructure Operations team, including remote staff, to deliver high-quality network services and support.
- Responsible for managing personnel, processes, vendor relationships, budgets, and operational performance.
- Establishes and executes infrastructure strategies, policies, and procedures that support business objectives and operational excellence.
- Collaborates with global IT teams, business stakeholders, and manufacturing leadership to meet service level targets, support project initiatives, and drive continuous improvement.
- Monitors and reports key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure effectiveness, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure delivery of world-class network services.

Program Manager – Manufacturing Global II
Provides Program Management for complex cross-functional programs within the Global Manufacturing arena.
- Develops project plans and interfaces with Technology, Product Management, HVM, High-Speed Rollout Team, Quality and Reliability, Supply Chain, Finance, Environmental Health and Safety, and other departments as required.

Automation Technician (All Crews/All PGT Plants)
Entry-level Automation Technician controls position supporting manufacturing operations.
- Assist with equipment implementation/startup, PLC/HMI programming, and troubleshooting/optimization of manufacturing process control systems.
- Directly supports a manufacturing site and will be assigned to a manufacturing schedule on either AM or PM crew/shift.
Schedule:
- AM shift: 6:00 AM – 6:10 PM
- PM shift: 6:00 PM – 6:10 AM
- Rotating 36/48-hour work week schedule, including working every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Supervisor - Technical I
Supervises the daily production of Photovoltaic modules in accordance with required quality standards and in a cost-efficient manner.
Location: Trinity, AL (Crew B)
Clerk - CMMS and Spare Parts I
- Follow and retrieve urgent spare parts from CMMS and warehousing systems.
- Ensure work order data is inputted in CMMS on a shiftly basis.
- Deliver data needed to drive shift KPIs for preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Monitor shift KPIs for technical group leads.
- Maintain PM records and other pertinent data for future improvements.
- Monitor return to stock, internal and external OSP process, including inputting information and working with shipping to ensure part movement through the system on a shiftly basis.
- Maintain line-side spares cabinets and pull data ensuring groups are following the system.
- Help maintain maintenance areas (shop, SIHI, and valve rebuild and spare parts staging areas).
- Adhere to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards.

Technician - Manufacturing Engineer I
- Assist in the installation and qualification of systems.
- Troubleshoot day-to-day manufacturing issues.
- Identify and/or implement system improvements that contribute to the achievement of throughput, yield, and product performance goals.

Human Resources Manager
Performs management-level strategic human resources-related duties for First Solar.
- Ensures all human resources functions and activities run effectively and efficiently in accordance with First Solar’s Code of Conduct, Behaviors & Core Values.
- Carries out responsibilities across the HR generalist spectrum, including recruiting, employee relations, transaction preparation & processing, process and procedure development and interpretation, benefits, training & communication.
- Oversees and directs the work of reporting HR staff and encourages their development.

Software Engineering Lead - Operations MES
Evaluates, designs, and implements projects for controlling and interfacing with manufacturing processes.
- Design and develop related data visualization and user input systems, database structures, procedures, and reports.
- Work with MES architects and controls engineers to ensure solutions integrate seamlessly with MES hardware and software systems to support enterprise design goals.
- Provide execution system technical knowledge and resources to the MES development team.
- Provide the final level of support for First Solar’s manufacturing execution systems, data architectures, and data collection.
- Ensure timely response to manufacturing MES software issues and identify and implement proactive measures to minimize downtime.
- Direct MES Ops Developer Team in providing support and solutions for existing equipment on the production floor for strategic partners of the MES group.
- Drive and manage capacity expansion projects in existing or new plants.
Location: New Iberia, LA
Buyer I (1st Shift)
- Execute purchasing activities for assigned materials, services, and equipment by obtaining bids, preparing purchase orders, and ensuring alignment with approved requisitions and standard terms and conditions.
- Support supplier negotiations related to pricing, delivery, and terms to ensure cost-effective supply.
- Assist in the qualification and onboarding of new suppliers as required.
- Maintain continuity of supply for assigned commodities by monitoring demand, placing orders, adjusting delivery schedules, and ensuring alignment with production requirements.
- Create and maintain accurate and complete master data elements to support planning processes and proper purchase order execution.
Location: Gaffney, SC
Engineer - Manufacturing I
- Install and qualify new processing equipment.
- Troubleshoot day-to-day manufacturing issues on the production line in a timely manner, including tool down issues, yield, and quality issues, and identify actions to prevent repeat issues.
- Identify and/or implement system improvements that contribute to the achievement of throughput, yield, and product performance goals.
