IT Desktop Support

Our customer is hiring an onsite Desktop Support Technician in Clinton, MD to provide in-person support for hardware and software-related issues.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM
• Must be available one weekend per month

Responsibilities

• Image and configure PC systems
• Perform hardware break-fix and software installations
• Troubleshoot end-user network issues (network adapters, wireless, VPN clients)
• Manage Active Directory accounts and groups (create, modify, disable, add, remove) using Adaxes
• Support Windows 10 OS (Mac OS skills a bonus)
• Install, repair, and support Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Use Help Desk ticketing systems to track and resolve end-user requests
• Support mobile devices (Android/iOS)
• Deliver patient, customer-focused service to users with varying technical expertise

Requirements

• Able to work both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills
• Experience with PC imaging and configuration
• Hardware break-fix and software installation skills
• End-user network troubleshooting (network adapters, wireless, VPN clients)
• Active Directory account and group management (create, modify, disable, add, remove)
• Experience with Windows 10 OS (Mac OS skills a plus)
• Microsoft Office installation, repair, and support (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with Help Desk ticketing systems
• Strong customer service, patience, and interpersonal skills

Pay

$20.00 – $28.00 per hour
