About the role
Act as onsite IT representative for business users, managing deskside support and infrastructure services.
Responsibilities
- Maintain inventory and support IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities
- Deploy hardware, including hardware and OS refresh activities
- Provide first-level support for printers and MFP devices
- Manage mobile devices through Intune
- Support SCCM and deployment processes
- Troubleshoot Office/M365, Internet Explorer, VPN software, and Microsoft Tools (Active Directory, Computer Management)
- Manage patching and vulnerability management for workstations
- Oversee management platform activities including device provisioning, configuration, deployment, and inventory
- Monitor device lifecycle (laptops, workstations, monitors, peripherals) from procurement to retirement, including upgrades and replacements
- Manage Incident, Problem, and Service Request tickets in ServiceNow
- Develop and maintain Knowledge Base articles for Incidents, Problems, and Service Requests
- Track asset inventory and configuration management of hardware and software in ServiceNow
- Provide basic Audio Visual support in meeting rooms (existing service agreement in place with AV provider)
- Identify Continuous Improvement opportunities
Skills & Experience
- Experience in deskside process and support
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Hands-on experience resolving customer issues related to infrastructure and End User Computing infrastructure
- Hands-on troubleshooting skills
