About the role

The Inventory Associate 1 (Service Parts & E-Commerce) supports the Sales Operations department with all material related functions.

Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming materials from either external or internal suppliers.
  • Identify and stock materials, with the Haas part number and according to established procedures.
  • Process basic inventory transactions on the computer and/or app.
  • Perform cycle counts for area of responsibility.
  • Maintain aisles/work stations and housekeeping within the warehouse.
  • Process picking orders from daily schedule.
  • Process packing orders.
  • Follow instructions, procedures and escalate any issue impacting workflow, quality, etc.
  • Exhibit honesty and integrity as well as demonstrate adherence to rules, procedures and policies.

Qualifications

  • Self-motivated person, committed to doing their best each day.
  • Detailed oriented and able to provide the highest level of service to customers.
  • Able to prioritize assignments throughout the day and work on several issues at a time.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory control methods, i.e., cycle counting, FIFO & location audits.

High school diploma or high school equivalency (HSE) credential such as general education degree (GED) is required, plus additional related experience, training and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. 0-1 year of experience preferred.

Skills

  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and safety rules; such as work instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. May need to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs.
  • Ability to solve practical problems.
