About the role
The Inventory Associate 1 (Service Parts & E-Commerce) supports the Sales Operations department with all material-related functions.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials from either external or internal suppliers.
- Identify and stock materials with the Haas part number according to established procedures.
- Process basic inventory transactions on the computer and/or app.
- Perform cycle counts for area of responsibility.
- Maintain aisles/work stations and housekeeping within the warehouse.
- Process picking orders from daily schedule.
- Process packing orders.
- Follow instructions, procedures, and escalate any issue impacting workflow, quality, etc.
- Exhibit honesty, integrity, and adherence to rules, procedures, and policies.
Requirements
- Self-motivated and committed to doing the best each day.
- Detailed-oriented with a focus on providing the highest level of service to customers.
- Able to prioritize assignments and work on several issues simultaneously.
- Basic knowledge of inventory control methods (e.g., cycle counting, FIFO, location audits).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; additional related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- 0–1 year of relevant experience.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, safety rules, and correspondence in English.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and compute rate, ratio, and percent.
- Ability to solve practical problems.
Skills
- Basic computer use (monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc.).
- Language skills: English (reading, writing, comprehension).
- Mathematical skills: whole numbers, fractions, decimals, graphs.
Physical Demands
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending (neck), twisting (neck), climbing, kneeling, squatting, reaching (above/below shoulder), and repetitive hand use.
- Occasional bending (waist), crawling, and pushing/pulling.
- Vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Lifting: 0–10 lbs. (frequently), 11–25 lbs. (frequently), 26–50 lbs. (frequently), 51–60 lbs. (occasionally), 61+ lbs. (occasionally).
Work Environment
- Noise level: usually loud.
- Frequent exposure to machining/production floor, moving mechanical parts, and vibration.
- Occasional exposure to hazardous chemicals, fumes, or airborne particles.
- Frequent exposure to outside weather conditions, extreme cold, or extreme heat.
- No exposure to risk of electrical shock.
Pay
$20.00 – $26.00 per hour.
