Inventory Assoc 1 (51627)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials from either external or internal suppliers.
• Identify and stock materials, with the Haas part number and according to established procedures.
• Issue materials to production work centers and fill out paperwork accordingly.
• Process basic inventory transactions on the computer.
• Perform cycle counts for area of responsibility.
• Expedite parts so that production does not stop.
• Maintain forklift maintenance & upkeep.
• Maintain aisles and housekeeping within the warehouse and or production lines.
• Must be able to operate both powered and non-powered material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jack, cranes, and mobile straddle stacker lift.
• Report any damage to a supervisor or manager.
• Follow instructions, procedures and escalate any issue impacting workflow, quality, etc.
• Exhibit honesty and integrity and demonstrate adherence to rules, procedures and policies.

Qualifications

• Must be self-motivated person, who is committed to doing the best then can each day.
• Needs to be detailed oriented and provide the highest level of service to his customers.
• Must be able to prioritize assignments throughout the day and be able to work several issues at a time.
• Previous forklift experience & license required.
• Position is also depended on passing Haas forklift certification test.
• Basic knowledge of Inventory control methods, i.e., cycle counting, FIFO & location audits.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or high school equivalency (HSE) credential such as general education degree (GED) is required.
• Additional related experience, training and/or equivalent combination of education and experience desired.

Desired Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or high school equivalency (HSE) credential such as general education degree (GED).
• Minimum Years Of Experience: 2-4 years.
• Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and safety rules.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems.
