Inventory Analyst
Position Overview
John Deere is seeking an Inventory Analyst to join their team at Waterloo Works in Waterloo, IA. This role requires a strong background in material flow and manufacturing environments, with a focus on inventory accuracy and problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records for direct materials
- Reconcile discrepancies and conduct root cause analysis
- Drive corrective action
- Work closely with Operations, Production Control, Manufacturing Engineers, Department Auditors, and other factory teams
- Participate in Cycle Counts and Monthly Financial Inventory Audits
- Develop innovative and proactive methods to identify and resolve inventory issues
Skills Required
- 2 or more years in roles demonstrating a working knowledge of Material Flow
- 2 or more years in a manufacturing environment
- 2 or more years demonstrating a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- 2 or more years collaborating with peers and teams cross-functionally
What Makes You Stand Out
- Cross-functional work experience in Materials and at least one other function and/or factory
- Experience or certifications in Root Cause Analysis methodology
- Fluency in SAP with experience in warehouse environments
- Ability to collaborate and drive action within cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in analyzing extensive data sets to uncover emerging trends and issues, ensuring timely and informed decision-making
- Understanding of assembly line and process design, material presentation and delivery, and corresponding visual management tools
Qualifications
- Education: Degree or equivalent related work experience in High School diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
Pay and Benefits
$67,692.00 - $101,532.00 + Benefits
