Inventory Analyst

Analytical and Problem-Solving

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex inventory and operational data.

Inventory Control and Materials Management

• Develop and implement inventory management strategies that promote efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Maintain item master data and leverage Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems to optimize inventory performance.
• Generate and review replenishment recommendations, parts transfers, purchase orders, and inventory reports.
• Manage federally funded inventory and ensure compliance with applicable funding requirements.
• Coordinate disposal and retirement of obsolete inventory and equipment assets.

Reporting and Data Analysis

• Develop reporting tools and dashboards to monitor inventory turnover, stock availability, and critical parts performance.

System Implementation and Process Improvement

• Support system implementation, testing, and process improvement initiatives related to materials management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, inventory control, materials management, or a related field.
