INVENTORY ANALYST
About the role
The Inventory Analyst is responsible for monitoring the overall process and health of the inventory. This position will be a player in continuous improvement, targeting increased efficiency and accuracy within inventory processes.
Essential Functions
- Maintains performance inventory data and EDI transmissions for optimal performance using existing procedures or suggesting revisions/new procedures as necessary.
- Drives efficient processing times on all received material and continuously improves processing time performance.
- Executes or reviews system postings such as Goods Issue, Goods Receipts, including custom dashboards for optimal performance.
- Ensures accuracy of record keeping. Collaborates with third-party warehouses as necessary to ensure alignment. Verifies aging of material in receiving and shipping locations and ensures accuracy of these materials.
- Utilizes available system and AI-driven tools to achieve desired outcomes.
- Eliminates errors that can impact performance against quality, budget, and efficiency of the department.
- Ensures 3-way inventory match between external and inventory systems.
- Create and coordinate render operations with third-party stakeholders.
- Collaborates with internal partners, understands areas of greatest impact and risk, and develops mitigating strategies.
- Performs miscellaneous stock-oriented duties as assigned, in support of the SCM Team.
- Regularly works onsite to build strong team connections, collaborate across functions, and solve problems in real time.
Compensation & Benefits
This is a salaried exempt position with an annualized salary range of $82,000 to $95,000. Trident Seafoods offers a comprehensive and quality benefits package. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 2 Years experience in supply chain management, warehousing, or related field; or equivalent combination of education, training and years of experience.
- GED or high school diploma required
Preferred Education & Experiences
- Experience reconciling and/or monitoring inventory data
- Experience verifying aging of materials in receiving and shipping locations
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA)
- Microsoft Office Suite; Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy. Agile prioritization and time management.
Work Environment
This is an on-site position based at the Trident Support Center office in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood, with the option to work remotely on Fridays. In-office time takes place in a typical office environment: temperature controlled with adequate lighting and moderate noise. While remote, employees must provide appropriate home office space.
Work Ability Requirements
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time at a desk. Frequently required to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear. The employee will occasionally stand, walk, and may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
