Inventory Analyst
The Opportunity
The Alpha Focus Factory is a specialized production unit within our larger manufacturing facility dedicated to building our Drone as First Responder (DFR) airframe. As the Inventory Analyst, you are the backbone of this specialized cell, ensuring that the unique materials, components, and finished goods required for the Alpha drone are meticulously tracked and available for just-in-time production.
- Maintain 100% inventory accuracy within your dedicated cell to prevent production downtime.
- Record and monitor all incoming raw materials and outgoing finished goods specific to the focus factory using ERP or WMS software (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Oracle).
- Perform daily or weekly physical counts of high-value or high-turnover components to identify and resolve discrepancies immediately.
- Cookordination with procurement to ensure "safety stock" levels are maintained, preventing stockouts that could halt the specialized production line.
- Verify that incoming materials meet technical specifications and discard or return items that do not meet company standards.
- Manage the layout of the storage area within the focus factory to ensure fast, ergonomic access to frequently used parts.
- Collaborate with production leads to optimize the "kitting" process for the Alpha airframe assembly line.
Logistics
The position requires candidates to work onsite at our Atlanta-based manufacturing facility for hands-on material management and inventory oversight.
The Skillset
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; an Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business is preferred.
- Experience: 2–5 years in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and experience with WMS/ERP software (Odoo, SAP, NetSuite, etc).
- Attention to Detail: Proven ability to manage meticulous records and maintain high levels of inventory accuracy.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing/warehouse environment, which involves standing or walking for long periods, bending, reaching, and regularly lifting up to 50 lbs.
Nice to Have

90 Days at Flock

- The First 60 Days: Take full ownership of the daily cycle counting schedule and discrepancy reporting. Implement a "First-In, First-Out" (FIFO) system for time-sensitive components or battery modules. Optimize the physical layout of the focus factory storage to reduce material retrieval time for the assembly technicians.
90 Days & Beyond
- Achieve and maintain a 99%+ inventory accuracy rate for the specialized Alpha production line.
