Inventory Administrator – Construction Procurement & Materials Control

About the Role
We are building next-generation data centers and seeking a Construction Procurement & Inventory Coordinator to support our construction field operations and data center projects. This role ensures materials are sourced efficiently, inventory is accurately tracked, and operational costs remain aligned with project budgets. It’s ideal for an entry-level accounting or business professional eager to grow in operational finance, procurement, and construction cost management. You’ll balance focused design time with active site visits, contributing to the future of telecommunications in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Research and compare pricing for construction materials, tools, and equipment
- Prepare purchase requisitions and coordinate with approved vendors
- Process and manage purchase orders for construction materials
- Coordinate and manage equipment rental agreements and contracts
- Track material orders to ensure timely delivery to field operations and project sites
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory reconciliation and reporting
- Support cost tracking and budget alignment for active construction projects
- Maintain accurate procurement and inventory records within accounting systems
- Assist with vendor communication and documentation management
- Collaborate with field teams, project managers, and accounting to ensure operational efficiency
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Review invoices and ensure proper documentation for Accounting approval
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-5 years of experience in accounting, procurement, inventory management, or operations support
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and basic formulas preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Interest in construction operations, data centers, and operational finance
- Ability to work cross-functionally with field and office teams
