About the role
Function as a member of a team utilizing specialized high technology equipment and performing invasive procedures on adult through geriatric patients leading to diagnosis and treatment of peripheral vascular and neurovascular disease.
Responsibilities
- Under the direction of a credentialed provider
- Utilize specialized high technology equipment
- Perform invasive procedures
- Diagnose and treat peripheral vascular and neurovascular disease
Requirements
- Must be a second year ADN nursing student enrolled in an accredited registered nursing program partnered with Essentia Health's nursing apprenticeship (or completed and pending RN licensure)
- Previous Cath Lab experience preferred
- Certified as a Registered Radiological Technologist or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist within two years of hire
- BLS certification or obtain within 6 months
Qualifications
- Education: Second year ADN nursing student
- Licenses/Certifications: Registered Radiological Technologist or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist certification required within two years of hire
