Intern - Nursing (Orthopedics/Neurosurgery)

About the role

Provides technical assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse for a specific group of patients to support quality outcomes. Offers communication and service functions to staff, patients, and guests, and performs additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients under the guidance of a registered nurse.
• Contributes to developing and implementing individualized care plans.
• Assists in evaluating and adjusting care plans as needed.
• Delivers patient care and supports nursing staff.
• Participates in initiatives to improve healthcare delivery.
• Builds clinical leadership knowledge and engages in ongoing education.
• Completes assigned goals efficiently.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduates of a registered nursing program awaiting licensure, with a maximum of 90 days in the role.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Certification in BLS within 14 days of hire.
