Intern Nurse II - Med/Surg

About the Role

Provides technical support under the supervision of a registered nurse for a specific group of patients to ensure quality care. Communicates effectively with staff, patients, and guests, and performs additional duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients under RN guidance
• Contributes to developing and implementing patient care plans
• Evaluates patient progress within the care plan
• Assists with patient care and supports nursing staff
• Engages in activities to enhance healthcare delivery
• Builds clinical leadership knowledge
• Participates in ongoing education
• Completes assigned objectives

Requirements

• Graduate of a registered nursing program awaiting licensure, with a maximum of 90 days in this role
• Computer literacy
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire
