Intern - Nurse II - Med/Surg

About the role

Provides technical assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse for a specific group of patients to support quality outcomes. Performs service functions and communicates effectively with staff, patients, and guests. Completes other assigned duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients under RN guidance.
• Contributes to developing and implementing care plans.
• Evaluates patient progress within the care plan.
• Assists with patient care and supports nursing staff.
• Engages in activities aimed at improving healthcare delivery.
• Builds clinical leadership knowledge and participates in ongoing education.
• Completes assigned goals efficiently.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of a registered nursing program pending licensure; maximum 90 days in the role post-graduation.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Must obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
