About the role

Responsibilities

  • Repair, refurbish, and reinstall interior upholstery components on business aircraft
  • Perform basic to advanced foam build-ups, patterning, and sewing of seat parts and other upholstery items
  • Remove and install seats, disassemble, clean, repair, and modify components as needed
  • Work independently when required
  • Communicate effectively (speaking, writing, reading) in English
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • A valid driver's license for airline travel and/or a valid passport (ideal but not required)
  • Experience in upholstery in aviation, auto, RV, Marine, or related fields
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform routine physical tasks
  • Basic computer skills for navigating training materials, manuals, and databases
  • Physical requirements include lifting, walking, bending, squatting, sitting, and climbing ladders/stairs
  • Mental requirements include understanding and implementing regulations and guidelines, working with others professionally, planning and organizing procedures, and supervising other technicians

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license for airline travel and/or a valid passport (ideal but not required)
  • Experience in upholstery in aviation, auto, RV, Marine, or related fields
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable transportation to work each day
  • Comply with FAA guidelines and follow company and safety rules
  • Customer-oriented work habits
  • Ability to perform minor modifications, maintain shop cleanliness, and work independently when required

Pay

The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $20-$35. Actual hourly rate may vary based on various factors including location, experience, and performance.

Schedule

Shifts may include 5x8, 4x10, and 3x12 schedules. Weekly competitive and industry-leading pay means you are paid more often.
