About the role
Seeking a motivated Intercom Paging Technician with experience installing and servicing intercom paging systems in commercial and education environments. This position resides primarily in the field, with job sites in Greater Hampton Roads and Richmond. The technician will be responsible for the successful outcome of projects and may oversee or train co-workers.
Responsibilities
- Install and service intercom paging systems in commercial and education environments
- Troubleshoot analog and IP paging systems (Valcom, Bogen, Dukane, or equivalent)
- Oversee and train co-workers on projects
- Adhere to safety protocols while working on ladders and using power tools
- Maintain professional appearance and responsive communication with clients
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience installing and troubleshooting paging systems (analog and IP)
- Familiarity with Valcom, Bogen, Dukane, or equivalent systems
- Applicable industry trainings
- Computer and networking experience
- Own basic industry tools
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain DCJS licensure
- Strong communication skills and a desire to learn and grow
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities

Pay
$25 - $35 per hour
