Professional / Technical - Level 8, full-time (8 hours per day, 5 days a week).

For the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year, this position will be housed at Walker High School, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Beginning in the 2026–2027 school year, the schedule will be Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM at Rogers High School, and Friday: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM at Walker High School.

About the role

Puyallup Open Doors Program is excited to invite an enthusiastic and dedicated Integrated Student Support and Engagement Liaison to join our team. This pivotal role is key to fostering student success by creating meaningful connections between students, parents, social services, and community organizations. You will play an integral part in implementing programs that support student transitions, post-graduation success, and strengthen our parent and community outreach efforts. This position is designed to provide critical support to students addressing various social needs such as housing insecurity, food support, job resources, and enhancing school connections. You will be a vital advocate for students, helping them access the tools they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong partnerships with parents, community organizations, and social services to provide comprehensive support for students.
  • Address a range of social needs, including housing instability, food insecurity, job resources, and connection to school and community supports.
  • Assist with student transportation to appointments and participate in home visits as part of the home visit team.
  • Support the development and implementation of programs aimed at post-graduation success and overall student well-being.
  • Support enrollment processes and onboarding for students connected to the Emerald Ridge Campus.

Requirements

  • Associate degree required.
  • BA/BS in social/human services, behavioral sciences, communication, education, or other related area preferred.
  • Educational background or experience in social services, health, or education preferred.
  • Conversational level of Spanish language proficiency preferred.
