Intake Case Manager

About the role
The Intake Case Manager is integral to ensuring the success and support of clients undergoing medical treatment and property damage claims. This position involves being a crucial link in helping clients obtain the maximum compensation they deserve to overcome challenging situations.
Responsibilities
- Apply a general understanding of the Bodily Injury Claim process and manage a caseload.
- Identify cases eligible for Full Demand, Quick Demands, and Globals, and submit them to the appropriate department.
- Review and submit potential production cases.
- Qualify clients for Personal Injury Protection (PIP).
- Assist clients in property damage resolution, including loss of use and diminished value claims.
- Communicate with adjusters and insurance companies to obtain timely insurance coverage information.
- Follow up on medical treatments and obtain medical provider records and bills.
- Update adjuster information in the system.
- Maintain thorough documentation in Litify, including submission of applicable subrogation letters.
- Maintain frequent communication with clients, answering questions and ensuring proper care.
- Upon attorney review, discharge cases and submit proper documentation for Attorney Liens.
Requirements
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (required).
- Strong multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Resourcefulness and proactiveness when issues arise.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to successfully communicate with the public, other employees, and vendors.
Pay
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Schedule
Full-Time, Monday - Friday
- 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST, or
- 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM EST
