Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of insurance defense litigation, from investigation, pleadings, discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
- Conduct extensive and detailed legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
- Take and defend depositions of parties and expert witnesses, ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation.
- Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, and responses, motions, and briefs.
- Provide legal advice to clients regarding all aspects of insurance defense law, ensuring they are fully informed and their rights are protected.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Current license to practice law in the state.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in insurance defense litigation with a proven track record of success.
- Proficient in conducting depositions and civil litigation.
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Salary: $80,000 - $125,000 per year
