About the role

Established, reputable law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join their team. This role is a 50/50 split between insurance coverage and insurance defense.

Hybrid work model (2 days remote). Billable hours requirement is 1,875 (flexible; bonuses start at 1,900). Example: billing 2,100 hours earns an additional $36,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Handle civil litigation and insurance coverage matters (first-party and third-party).
• Manage multiple cases in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
• 1–2 years of first-party or third-party insurance coverage experience.
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Licensure in both NC and SC, or ability to obtain both within the first year of employment.
