Responsibilities
- Handle civil litigation defense matters from inception through resolution
- Manage cases involving personal injury, transportation, and other general liability matters
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents
- Take and defend depositions and participate in hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
- Develop case strategy and communicate directly with clients throughout the litigation process
- Manage multiple active matters and deadlines independently
Requirements
- 3+ years of civil litigation experience
- Defense litigation experience strongly preferred
- Personal injury defense and transportation litigation experience preferred
- J.D. and active Texas Bar license in good standing
- Strong legal research, writing, deposition, and case management skills
- Ability to travel locally and throughout Texas as needed

$130,000 - $170,000 per year
