Responsibilities

• Meet the annual requirement of 1900 billable hours
• Prepare motions for summary judgment
• Engage in heavy litigation for most cases
• Collaborate closely with a partner on each case
• Draft initial answers, discovery requests, and responses
• Handle dispositive motions
• Conduct depositions of fact witnesses or plaintiffs
• Navigate case resolutions, with 90-95% settling before trial

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as an associate civil litigation attorney with a focus on insurance defense
• Barred to practice in Georgia
• Flexibility in work hours is preferred
• Experience with litigation and case management is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills is preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team is preferred
