- 5 days per week (Monday - Friday)

About the Role
Instructional Assistant I / II / III supporting students in Resource, Learning Handicap, or Communicatively Handicap programs. Typical duties include running small groups, assisting students in large groups in both Special Day Class and General Education settings, and supporting the teacher's needs.
We are looking for candidates with any combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job duties.
In some programs, possession of—or willingness and ability to obtain—a valid California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire may be required.
Requirements
- Must attach a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must provide one of the following:
- Passing score from San Juan Unified School District's Proficiency Exam (testing date must be April 2005 or later; no other district’s exam will be accepted)
- Official passing score from the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST)
- Passing the IA Proficiency Test or CBEST is required, regardless of educational background
